Katong Diner Special Projects indigo block print short sleeve shirt is made of lightweight organic cotton fabric with one flap chest pocket and two side-slit pockets. The shirt is characterised by a stylised raglan sleeves and a short tie at the front. Traditional hand block and dye techniques are used to make this rural cloth. Block printing is the relief process of printing onto fabric using a hand-cut wooden block. Therefore, hand block cloths are susceptible to inconsistencies in their final print and these are not flaws, but characterises the speciality cloth. This article comes in a limited edition of 4 pieces and is handmade by the team at WOODS & WOODS in Singapore.
